About Jonsteen's Seedlings
All of our trees are seed-grown at our nursery on California's Redwood Coast, which is inspected monthly and licensed by the California Department of Agriculture. Trees can provide a natural barrier against high winds, temperatures, noise pollution and soil erosion, all while benefiting local air quality, wildlife and property values — a Jonsteen seedling will only grow in value and beauty!

Seedling Size Chart: Small
Due to the dynamic nature of actively growing trees, as well as the tremendous variation between species’ growth rates, we rely on the cubic volume of a seedling’s root mass to determine its “size” (Small / Medium / Large / XL). Within each size there is minor variance — the dimensions provided here represent the category minimum. If exact measurements are essential, please contact us about current stock.

This is a great deal, but they only survived about a month.
I've made some purchases previously and it went perfectly. The tree babies are doing great. My sequoia seedling has really taken off in the past month! Montezuma Cypress are pushing buds. Very exciting that I was able to catch the arbor day celebration. Happy days much love. Can't wait to catch the clump Japanese maple 🙏🙏
Last year I participated in Jonsteen’s Arbor Day treat. They give you a beautiful, healthy sapling and you just pay shipping. Last year I ordered a Maritime Pine. It shipped to me to Long Island, New York. The company said to plant in a container for 2 years. I am celebrating baby Maritime’s first year. I wish I could provide a photo here. So now I got this years Arbor Day email and I quickly have another beauty coming. Thank you Jonsteed, I am a huge fan of yours! Please everyone for the health of our planet plant trees and Pollinators!
